Carve is a beautifully designed “how to” book. I saw this and couldn’t pass it up. I have a couple family members who love wood working and love tinkering around. I snatched this up for them to see if maybe they would enjoy some new ideas on what to make. I thought the “diy” designs in the book were different than any I personally had seen before. If you or someone you know likes carving wood then I would highly suggest this book. Especially with Christmas right around the corner.

When I started this book, I had no idea what to expect. I thought it would be a typical end of the world by Ice Age book, but I was wrong. It was way different. I thought there were equal amounts of Ice Age talk as there were family\friendship dynamics. The thing I loved most about this book were the characters. We had a tremendous amount of diverse character represented and it was amazing to read. I also loved how this book taught me a few things I hadn’t known before. I recommend reading this book this winter.
