Mexico by Josh Barkin|| Book Review

Dates Read: Feb 24th-Feb25th

Cover: 5/5

Writing and Plot:3/5

Characters:3/5

Overall: 3.25/5

Josh Barkin brings us into a real world view of the drug war and crime in Mexico. With 12 short stories, each different in their own way, you get to experience different robberies and murders. There was never a dull moment in this book. Something was always happening, keeping you on your toes. However this book had no happy ending or good side to it. All the stories were dark and depressing. I would have liked to have seen a few of the stories be positive. Overall this was a fast captivating read that I enjoyed but did not love. I would recommend to anyone who likes action/adventure/drug lord/crime ect.
